CC2642R: How to extend CC2340's RF range.

Interfacing CC2340Rx with a range extender is definitely possible. At the moment we do not have specific reference design available. I am not sure the CC2592 and CC2590 are totally adapted for this purpose as the CC2340Rx has an internal balun. However, I am not 100% of this, so I'll ask hardware experts to double confirm.

With that being said, the signals required to drive the range extender (i.e LNA and PA signals) are easy to enable. You can refer to the debugging guide, and more specifically to "Debugging RF Output", there you will find the code snippet allowing to enable these signals.
The debugging guide is part of the User's Guide. Since SDK 6.30, the CC2340Rx User's Guide is included in the SDK package (under the folder "doc").

I’m sorry for the confusion.

I just found out that SDK and DOC folders have been merged in SDK6.30.

However, how to use RF range extender in the debugging guide is lacking.

I need to advises of hardware experts.

Do you mean you are missing software or hardware guidance? What kind of information are you missing at the moment?

Debugging guide describes only RF TX/RX Signal out settings for RF debugging.

What I ultimately need is to amplify the RF Signal to 20dBm.

Please provide HW / SW guidance for connecting RF range extender.
