For CC2340R5 PG2.0, is it not necessary to flash default CCFG file for a blank device ?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2340R5

Hi team,

For CC2340R5 PG1.0, we need to flash a default CCFG file for a blank device. (workaround to resolve the “Error -1274 @ 0x0” flashing error).

For PG2.0, is this fixed ? Customer doesn't need to flash a default CCFG, right ?.

  • Hi Jerry,

Automatic functionality in our tools is being worked on and will be available in the future, however, in the meantime the user will have to flash the CCFG manually on the PG2.0 device.

    Kind Regards,

    Rogelio

  • Hi Rogelio, another related question, we want to know what does CCS do during the 'ProgramDefaultCCFG'. we were able to program the chip through UART after 'ProgramDefaultCCFG', but after program with our own code, the CCFG seems changed, and we are unable to communicate with CC2340 again through UART. it would be really helpful if we could know what does 'ProgramDefaultCCFG' do in CCS.

  • Hi Jiaquan,

For E2E purposes to have answers and questions be easily found by others. Do you mind creating a separate thread for this question.

    Kind Regards,
