and going through the KeyFobDemos to see how to control a change of characteristic that could be used to turn on or off the LED.

It seems as though there was an invalid parameter in the GATT_writecharvalue command

I would assume its the connection handle that was chosen, but my recommendation would be to double check the parameters you put make sense.
