Hi,
Thank you for reaching out of us,
What do you mean by it's showing advertisement? Did you check if the device advertise or you're not able to see the device on a scanner application on your phone?
I need to know a bit more to located the problem, to know if the device advertise you could uses a GPIO pin to know if the radio is sending or receiving packet, to do so check your debugging guide located in your SDK, and follow the steps of the Debugging RF Output section.
If the device advertise and your just not able to see it on your phone, please provide your SDK version, the example you're using and the connection parameters, are you advertising directly? public? private?
Regards,
When device is in advertisement mode, i checked that other mobile scanner showed the device but in some mobile is not showing like in "1+" mobile its showing device but in "Samsung galaxy M30 and Redmi Note 8 Pro" not showing.
What is the OS of the "1+" phone?
I definitely need your advertisements parameters to help you on this one,
regards,
Hi,
What is the scanner app you're using on both phones?
Also don't connect the device with any phones if you just want to see if it advertises or not.
regards,
Yes, i didn't connect any mobile phone while checking advertising mode. For checking advertisement, I used BLE Scanner, Light blue even though i verify Bluetooth scanning which is default available in every mobile.
As far as I know all mobiles can act as central for CC2642R. Could you try to see if it works with our apps:
Find the TI SimpleLink Connect App on both OS Android and iOS.
TI SimpleLink Connect on Apple App Store
TI SimpleLink Connect on Google App Store
It should works with Light blue, the only thing i'm thinking is a filtering stuff from your phone.
Also, I don't think all the phone could see BLE devices advertising with classic bluetooth scanner included in the phone.
regards,
Hello,
I don't know for these specifics phones model, if you're able to see the advertisement on others phone it shouldn't related to the BLEstack...
May I ask you the Address Mode, the advertisement interval, and the PHY configured for your application. Also what's the purpose of your application? Do you want to connect to smartphones at the end?
regards,
I am using simple peripheral default example code in which address mode is public, PHY is 1MBPS and advertisement interval is 1sec.
Purpose of Application : send some commands from mobile vehicle flasher must be enable
