Hi team

Hello, there is a technical need for 2.4G band, I hope to use CC2652P as a proprietary protocol, and transmit power needs 20dBm. The data rate needs to be around 1-2 kbps and the bandwidth is as narrow as possible to tens of kilohertz.

Ask:

(1) can the CC2652P modify its RF modulation and data rate to meet the data rate and bandwidth requirements mentioned above?

(2) the CC2652P sees a minimum receive bandwidth of 4KHz on the spec, but no application scenarios are seen for this minimum receive bandwidth. Can you explain this application scenario?

Hi Alex,

You can use SmartRF Studio 7 to review the Proprietary RF PHYs supported by the CC2652P. You will find that there is no PHY available for the data rate and bandwidth they are requesting. Please have the customer reconsider the Sub-1 GHz frequency band instead, with devices such as the CC1352P.
