I have my product as Energy meter, which has a master controller in it.
For wireless connectivity I have selected CC2340R5 in my BLE module.

Example code is being used for communication. (Data stream)
Environment is CCS, emulator and programmer used is XDS110ET.

Mobile application used to communicate is Simplelink Connect and serial bluetooth terminal.

Hi Vidhyashree,

Can you give provide some short unsers in able to reproduce you rissue.

1.) Which SDK are you using ?

2. ) Is your software running on custom hardware?

3.) Can you ensure with a logic analyzer that the UART communcation is running ?

1. SDK is simplelink_lowpower_f3_sdk_7_10_00_35
2. yes, but the same issue faced in launchpad of CC2340R5 also.
3. Im able to ensure that Rx part is running in my system.

Can you ensure that the Uart TX of your system is working ??

Yes

Im able to get the data at my meter controller UART from CC. But CC does not support me to accept the response from uC UART

Can you try to use our uart2echo example which is located in:

~\examples\rtos\LP_EM_CC2340R5\drivers\uart2echo

to test whether the UART is working on both lines in your design.

I have tried UART2Echo example, but Its just received data is transmitted in UART

Hi Vidhyashree,

The example is supposed to echo the date it received. There might be some hardware or software configuration issues. Can you briefly describe how you wired your device and how it is setup in SysConfig. Please mention all connections you used this might help us to find your issue..

I am able to see the echo'ed data, its working fine but my problem is I can not send the data as I wish from my controller UART

Hi Vidhyashree,

I understand you are looking for a way to transmit UART data over Bluetooth Low Energy.

To do so, I would recommend you first install the new SDK (7.20) using this link: https://www.ti.com/tool/download/SIMPLELINK-LOWPOWER-F3-SDK

Once done, please leverage the example available here: https://github.com/TexasInstruments/ble_examples/tree/simplelink_low_power_f3_sdk-7.20/examples/rtos/LP_EM_CC2340R5/ble5stack/data_stream_UART_over_BLE

As suggested by you, I have downloaded the SDK but don't find a way to open that project example you suggested in CCS.
