Hello,

I am currently facing a challenge and I hope that you guys can support me and help me solve the problem.

I use the Honor Magic 5 pro( Cell phone ) to connect and disconnect CC2642, after multiple disconnections and connections, there is a probability of the need for pairing again. I'm sure that the CC2642 NVS is normally, the NVS data(adr: 0x50000~0x54000) which includes the bonding information is persistent.

For the BLE project, the CC2642 is used as multi role, and our application directly uses GAPBondMgr, so for the app level, I think I just config the BondMgr in the entry init. The BondMgr Config Information is set as below:

And by the way, the Link layer local supported feature value I set is

uint64_t u64Features = 0x000000000000000FB;

HCI_EXT_SetLocalSupportedFeaturesCmd((uint8 *)&u64Features);

Will this issue be related to the local supported feature?

But the answer is only to let the R&D use the new SDK, and it is not clear whether it has been resolved in the end.

Would it be possible for you to collect an Ellisys sniffer air trace log for us to review when the issue occurs?

How quickly does this issue reproduce?

Thank you for your reply, the probability of this issue reproducing is relatively low. Yesterday, I caught the sniffer log, and I found that when the phone requested the LLCP feature, the CC2642 did not responded it,(5 retries and fail). Why can't the CC2642 respond the LLCP feature request? For next step, I wanna make sure that whether the CC2642 can receive the LLCP feature request via RX control pin.

Hi Jinbo,

Can you please attach the full sniffer log? This actually looks like the first connection event, and per the spec, the first connection event will be tried 6 times, and after the 6th attempt, if there is not a response from the peripheral, the connection shall be considered lost. In this case, it's possible the TI device did not see the connection indication, which could contribute to it and the above would be expected behavior. This is especially possible if the devices are at distance from one another.

Another item to check, have you checked to see if the peripheral has set the sleep clock accuracy according to the PPM of the LF XTAL used in your design?

the sniffer log shows that the phone sent the connection indication, and as you said, it's possible the TI device did not see the connection indication.

For now, the LF clock src that the CC2642 uses is LF RCOSC, and the project set the sleep clock accuracy as below:

Does it need to be changed?(I mean the 500).

Hello Evan,

I recurrent this issue again, the TI device did not receive the LL feature exchange, I see the Rx Ctrl Pin level is low. I took two screenshots and helped me analyze them. Thank you so much. If you want more details, I can provide them to you.
