Hello Alex,

I am looking to develop a project where the device(LP-CC2651P3) simply advertises the data I require at an interval. For the starting point I have used "basic_ble" project and specified the Device Role as "Broadcaster". I need to understand where can I place the data that I require to send in this project. I assume functions "BLEAppUtil_initAdvSet" and "BLEAppUtil_advStart" would be required to do the advertising but I am unable to find the usage of these functions in the project. Kindly help me out to proceed further. Thanks and regards.

You may have better luck starting with simple_peripheral instead of basic_ble (however that does depend on your end application). The CC13XX-CC26XX SDK has basic BLE support for devices in the latest release. We have quite a few SLA examples demonstrating how to use this.

While I did more details regarding the functions you mentioned, they were on CC23xx SLAs (Scanning and Advertising Basics).
