CC2652P: LogSinkITM and LogSinkUART

Hello,

I'm trying to use LogSinkITM and LogSinkUART to log info with Log_printf().

With LogSinkUART I can see some data on the terminal, but they seems to be raw data. It seems I need a script to decode the data, and then show them on Wireshark, is it correct ?

Where can I find any guide and the script ?

Hi Riccardo,

In the referenced post :

...there needs to be a host-side tool for parsing the log output into a readable format.

This is then passed to Wireshark to be viewed (the UART output is raw data).

Currently this host-side tool is not yet available...

Can you try the ITM one instead?

Hi,

I tried ITM but it seems I'm not receiving any data :

I tried also with Wireshark :

Do you have a jumper on the SWO signal?

Did you select the COM port for "Auxiliary"?

Hello,

I missed the SWO Jumper, now I'm able to see the log (attached).

Anyway the timing seems incorrect, because the "Printa" log is sent every 5second (I checked also with the oscilloscope on SWO and I see a frame every 5s).
