CC2340R2: Possibility of OAD on-chip development on the CC2340R21

I'm migrating from CC2340R5 to CC2340R21E0RGER chip. I have a doubt if I can implement the OAD feature with on chip by using of NVS memory of sectors from the flash memory.

The persistent application take 170kb and MCU boot application takes 43kb.

Is there any other MCU boot and persistent app I need to use for the CC2340R21, If yes please specify the location in the SDK.

if not what are the possibilities of implementing OAD feature on the CC2340R2 chip.

    Hi,

    Thank you for reaching out.

    I am afraid on-chip OAD is not possible on CC2340R2 - only off-chip OAD is possible.Has you have pointed out, the flash size left by the persistent app + MCUBoot would limit the application to 40 kB or so - which would not be sufficient.
