My customer sent the TI CC2340R2 devices for pre‑programming and need your guidance on how to efficiently verify, during incoming inspection (IQC), that the firmware has been programmed correctly.

Could you please share your recommended verification flow and tools?

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out. There are a few ways of verifying that flash was successful. Verifying device functionality (checking if the custom application is working) is a good way to check this. You are also able to use uniflash for flash verification as well. The flash operation itself in uniflash will also provide a success or failure message after flashing.

Hi Jan,

May I ask if TI UniFlash 9.3.0 can compare and verify a programming image against the target flash contents without first programming the device?

If so, please advise recommended steps to implement this verify-only flow.

Hi Mike,

You can read the flash of a device without having flashed it in the same session. You can test this out using the memory browser in uniflash?
