Hello,

I am waiting on the CC2540MINI kit but time is running out for completing a project. The CC2540MINI kit offers the CCDebugger. Is the CC2530ZDK with the MSP430 just as good? Can I simply remove the CC2530 and add a CC2540 or should I continue to wait on the CC2540 MINI kit. I want to be able to do both Zigbee and Bluetooth. My immediate needs are for Bluetooth.

Hello,

The CC Debugger and 4x/3x are all pretty much the same on the higher 8051 level. The radio firmware is different though, so if you want to actually run BLE, then you need the CC2540 mini kit. Please post again with any trouble you are having getting a kit. These should be readily available.

Hello Greg,

I placed an order from the TI store for the CC2540Mini Kit and I am still waiting on it. Order number 105776. I truly don't understand why it has taken so long to fill this order and I am looking for another option for developing a system using the CC2540.
