For example central and peripheral in the same chip ?

Or is it possible to communicate with another CC2541 but in L2CAP layer, not in GATT layer ?

I would like to add in my device (which is currently used as peripheral role ) the capabilitie to communicate with another CC2541, together with the smartphone ( used as central ) ?
