BLE(cc2541 ) interface with external micro controller via uart

Hello Sunil,

There are no specific commands or examples provided for UART communication between CC2541 and MSP430 devices but each have their own set of UART code examples that you can modify. Here's a wiki page about this topic:

There's also a pre-existing TI Design that appears to have UART communication between the CC2541 and MSP430G2444, it might be worth a read:

Thanks for your reply ... I am having small doubt ..is it possible to change the UUID of BLE device (CC2541) using external controller method (external UART Command ) ... if yes what is the BT command is use to change the add(change uuid ) ? please help on this ...

Are you asking about the unique IEEE address, also referred to as the MAC address? If so this address is stored inside of the information page and is not writable. I can transfer this thread to the BLE forum if you require more expertise with the CC2541 device.

I am try to change the advertisement data(uuid+major+minor value) ,even I am not able change in the direct method (I am having source code of spp led demo ,I am trying to change uuid by changing the GAP_LE_Set_Advertising_Data value ) ...is any other method change the uuid of advertisement of cc2541 ...please help me on this

Looking at the Wiki page for the CC256x TI Bluetooth Stack HRPDemo App there doesn't seem to be any API calls capable of changing the UUID:

Thanks for valuable information , but your right ..I didn't find any API to change the complete advertisement data ...from the below API ,I can change only first two parameter of advertisement data , GAP_LE_Set_Advertising_Data(BluetoothStackID, (Advertisement_Data_Buffer.AdvertisingData.Advertising_Data[0] + 1), &(Advertisement_Data_Buffer.AdvertisingData)); ..please help any other API or method ..to change the complete advertisement data of (32 bytes ) ...
