Executing Sensor Controller tasks from timebase other than RTC

Greetings.

I would like to repeatedly execute a sensor controller task every 25.000 us, but using the RTC, I can only execute the task with a period that is a multiple of 1/65536th of a second. Is there a way I can use a timebase other than the RTC to sample at more precise intervals?

Hello again.

Maybe I can try adcStartAuxTimer0Trigger( ) to set up the timebase and then go into a loop that relies on adcReadFifo to block execution until it is time to execute the next slice.

Hi Scott,

Looking at section 17.4.3 of the TRM, it appears that you can configure the timer with a prescalar and multiple tick sources. What are your configurations for these values?

I was relying on scifStartRtcTicksNow( ) to set up my sensor controller timebase so I'm not sure what my current register settings are. I'll look into the modifying the registers directly to see if I can get it to meet my needs.

Looks like the adcStartAuxTimer0Trigger( ) + adcReadFifo( ) loop did the trick.
