CC2564 forced into sniff mode for no reason

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430F5254, CC2564, CC2564MODN, CC256XSTBTBLESW

Hi,

I am currently using MSP430F5254 with CC2564 to make classic BT connection with Android phones, and the streaming data from my board to Android phone at about 350 kbps, it works fine with Nexus 5 phone and fire tablet. But when I try to stream data to Samsung s4/s5, I can stream data for about 5 seconds, then my board goes into sniff mode, I don't have any HCI logger so I don't know why the board goes into sniff mode, but my feeling is the phone somehow commands it to sniff mode. Since if I don't have any data to stream, after a while I would get

"HCI Mode Change Event, Status: 0x00, Connection Handle: 1, Mode: Sniff, Interval: 800"

But when I connect to Samsung phone, event though I am constantly streaming data, the board goes to sniff mode after about 5 seconds.

"HCI Mode Change Event, Status: 0x00, Connection Handle: 1, Mode: Sniff, Interval: 798"

The interval is a bit different leads me to think it is Samsung phone asking for sniff mode.

Thanks a lot for the help in advance.

Best regards,

Feng
