ACL Packets 3-dh3

Hello.

I`m trying to manage cc2654b module with HCI command without any stack.

And I found that when I send ACL packet with 500 bytes on other device I receive 2 packet one on 339 bytes second 161 bytes.

How to avoid this?

How right enable only 3-dh3, 3-dh5 packet transmission with HCI?

Hi,

You could use the HCI spec command to enable whichever packet types you'd like.

For example:

Send_HCI_Change_Connection_Packet_Type Handle, 0x110e (that will enable only DM1, which is a must, 3DH3, 3DH5).

The question is what the peer supports, as it might not support certain packet types, and therefore you see the split packet.

The opcode is defined in the spec. It is 0x040F.
But before doing any of this, I suggest you first send me an air capture, as my feeling is that the reason TI's controller splits the packet is because of bad configuration, or remote's limitation.
