Compiler/CC2541DK-SENSOR: IAR cc2541 build time error.

Which version of the TI BLE-Stack are you using? The IAR for 8051 version required is listed in the README.txt at the main directory of the SDK. For example, for BLE-Stack v1.4.1 & v1.4.2, the correct version is IAR 8051 v9.10.3.

                  I was busy with some other project, so I could not replay soon. After installation of perl,error solved but now I am stuck with new error provided below.

Fatal Error[e72]: Segment SLEEP_CODE must be defined in a segment definition option (-Z, -b or -P)

version I am currently have

IAR Embedded Workbench for 8051 IDE - Version 8.20.1

IAR Embedded Workbench common components -6.4.6.2419

 

 

You should use IAR EW8051 version 9.10.3 to build examples in BLE Stack v.1.4.2

          Currently I have BLE SDK version 1.3.2 and IAR version 8.2. The source code I am building got from our one of client, they all ready  builded project, help me out where I am wrong.

Hi Mohammad,

Did your client use the same version of IAR that you are using? Do you get the same error if you import the default SensorTag project into your version of IAR?

Projects for BLE-Stack v1.3.2 were built and verified with IAR v8.10. Although you may be able to get your project working with IAR 8.20, I would recommend you update to at least BLE-Stack v1.4.0 which was built and tested with IAR 8.20.
