Could you please recommend a crystal that suits automotive temperature requirements (-40 to 85C) and is <40ppm over temperature?

The first recommendation on the wiki () meets the temp requirements, but not the PPM requirements for an OEM.

Epson has a part that fit the specifications, X1E00002104800. Contact Epson directly for more information.

Hi. this is the reply I got from the Epson rep:
"I looked up this part, X1E00002104800.

Though typically we have 13 digits or 15, if the 2 digit packaging code is included.
This one above is 14 digits…..

I dropped the final 0 in my search and it returned a custom TSX-3225 40MHz crystal with 7.6pF load capacitance, +/-10ppm tolerance at 25C and +/-10ppm stability over -10 to 85C.
This is not an automotive grade part either, so doesn’t seem to fit your previous need. It’s also showing to no longer be available in our system.

Hi Kasper,

The datasheet clearly says X1E00002104800. It also says model: TSX-3225, spec number: A16-128-1B.

I got feedback from Epson today that the part number on the datasheet is missing a digit. The right number is X1E000021004800. Specifications can be found here: support.epson.biz/.../productinfo.php .
