Hello

I am new in low energy bluetooth so i am sorry if i make a stupid question and my bad English. I have problems with CC2564xEM module in starting process. I use MSP-EXP432P401R board to connect to CC2564xEM (without adapter board). i config Pin P4.2 of MSP432 board to output pin to use ACLK (32.768KHz) by using Code composer Studio like this :

I used Bluetooth Stack v4.2.1.0 so i connect MSP-EXP432P401R with CC2564xEM like this (in Hardware configuration ):

But in the start up process i get an error like this :

i did not change any Jumper on both MSP432 and CC2564xEM also. Using oscilloscope to check the signals, i saw the 32KHz clock is stable 8ms before nSHUTD signal rise up(High state). The 26MHz clock worked. But after that the RTS signal is always high. Could you guys tell me what is my problem here?

How did you connect CC2564EM to MSP432P401R? Did, you check the below user's guide? If, you are using similar hookup for connecting MSP432 to CC2564, the pad configurations are already taken care in the SDK..

I forgot to buy the hookup but now i am booking it. So I used wires to connect MSP432 to CC2564 like the table that i show you above.

I have read the MSP432P401R guide http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/slau597f/slau597f.pdf and http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/swru453b/swru453b.pdf already.

Please note that i am using Dual-mode Bluetooth® CC2564 evaluation board http://www.ti.com/tool/CC256XQFNEM?keyMatch=cc256xqfnem%20user%20guide&tisearch=Search-EN-Everything

We, suggest trying with EM adapter booster pack to eliminate wiring issues..

Hi Hari

I bought the adapter booster pack http://www.ti.com/tool/BOOST-CCEMADAPTER but got same problem. I read this guide /cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/538/6014.readme-_2800_1_2900_.txt but nothing changed. So i have some question as below :

1. Can i use CC256XQFNEM evaluation board http://www.ti.com/tool/cc256xqfnem with MSP432P401R LaunchPad http://www.ti.com/tool/MSP-EXP432P401R ?

2. If i can use CC256XQFNEM evaluation board with MSP432P401R LaunchPad, can i use ACLK pin of MSP432 board to make 32.768KHz slow clock or i have to mount 32.768KHz slow clock to adapter board?

Hi Minh,

The selection guide, specifies the components for each host platform. For MSP432 please refer to section 4.2 in
www.ti.com/.../swru523.pdf

Once, you have the required boards, please refer to MSP432+CC2564C users guide (www.ti.com/.../swru497.pdf ) and check sections 5.2 and 6. If, you are using the latest TI releases SDKs, as mentioned in the document you should get it working without any SW modifications.
