CC2640R2F-Q1: The difference between CC2640R2F and CC2540 in the burst wave

Part Number: CC2640R2F-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2640, CC2540, BLE-STACK

I'm evaluating DTM using the host_test project (BLE stack v3.01.00.05, BLE v4.2) and HCI_Tester (v2.3.5.0).

Now I'm checking the In-band Spurious Emission using CC2640 LaunchPad but it seems to be very few margin.

Compared with the CC2540 result, there is something different.

<CC2640 environment>

Hardware : CC2640R2 Development Kit
Software: BLE-Stack v3.01.00.05 Host Test
Tool: HCI Tester (Tool Ver=2.3.5.0 , Library File : CC26xx BLE Stack versions 2.x, 3.x, 5.0.x)

<CC2540 environment>

Hardware : CC2540 USB Dongle
Tool: HCI Tester (Tool Ver=2.3.5.0 , Library File : BLEv4.0)

<The spectrum in CC2640>

Continuous TX (Yellow) :

HCI_EXT_SetTxPower (Tx Power=0dBm)

HCI_EXT_ModemTestTx (CW Mode=Modulated/Frequency=2440MHz)

Burst TX (Blue) :

HCI_EXT_SetTxPower (Tx Power=0dBm)

HCI_EXT_ModemTestTx (CW Mode=Modulated/Frequency=2440MHz)

TX Frequncy = 2440MHz

Spectrum Analyzer Setting:
Center Frequency=2440MHz, Span=100MHz, RBW=1MHz, Trace=Max Hold

Continuous TX (Yellow) :
HCI_EXT_SetTxPower (Tx Power=0dBm)
HCI_EXT_ModemTestTx (CW Mode=Modulated/Frequency=2440MHz)

Burst TX (Blue) :
HCI_EXT_SetMaxDtmTxPower (Tx Power=0dBm)
HCI_LE_Transmitter_Test (Frequency=2440MHz, Lenght of test data=0x25, Payload=0x00)

TX Frequncy = 2440MHz
Spectrum Analyzer Setting:
Center Frequency=2440MHz, Span=100MHz, RBW=1MHz, Trace=Max Hold

Spectrum Analyzer Setting:

<CC2540 waveform in 2440 MHz>

Spectrum Analyzer Setting:

<CC2640 waveform in 2445 MHz>

Spectrum Analyzer Setting:
Center Frequency=2445MHz, Span=0MHz, RBW=1MHz

The level is not flat during TX.

The rising edge level is quite higher than the other.

The falling edge level is quite higher than the other.

Is it no problem?

In Cc2640, Bluetooth SIG's In-Band Emission is very few margin.

M-N=3 : margin=1dB, M-N=-3 : margin=2dB

Is it no problem?
