I see in

You mentioned the power consumption when connected after paired with the phone is 165uA. I tested my HUAWEI phone with the original FW shipped together with the RC, when connected and no key press, the power consumption is around 220uA, it doesn't make sense to such kind of application. In my mind, the idle power with no action when maintain connection should be less than 10uA.

May I know how to optimize power?

Hi Holly, this depends on a variety of factors. When in a connected state, the devices will have negotiated a standard connection interval, the faster that connection interval, the higher power consumption. Sub 10uA is not possible, especially with smart phones, as they tend to require a quicker connection interval, thereby increasing avg power consumption.

Typically, when the device does not need to interact with the TV or whatever it's controlling, the device will disconnect and then go to sleep. This is only when in a connected state with a target and transmitting.

Hi Evan,

I think I know where the problem is, by modifying Interval, Latency as well as GPIO settings, the average power can be lower than 10uA.

Were your GPIO settings not terminated? What changes did you make?
