We have submitted a product containing a lmx9830 Bluetooth for European standards testing. Our test house has asked us a series off questions about the radio side of the device. Can you provide answers to the questions below?

Are the LMX9830 transmissions channelised?

Does the LMX9830 use Polite Spectrum Access?

What is the duty cycle in %?

What is the maximum time between two instances of use of the same channel in ms?

What are the alignment ranges?

What is the necessary bandwidth?

What is the channel access protocol?

What is the ITU emission designator?

Additionally, do you have a declaration of conformity and test report for the lmx9830?

Are the LMX9830 transmissions channelised? Yes, 79 Channels

Does the LMX9830 use Polite Spectrum Access? No

What is the duty cycle in %? Variable, up to 100%.

What is the maximum time between two instances of use of the same channel in ms? 49.375

What are the alignment ranges? Not sure what this refers to.

What is the necessary bandwidth? 2402 - 2480 MHz

What is the channel access protocol? Not certain.

What is the ITU emission designator? 2G40G7W

In order to drive the test modes is simply blue commander from the lm9830-sw package still available?

David,

Unfortunately, the LMX9830 is not recommended for new designs (NRND) and the software is no longer supported.
