Hi,

I using CC2590 for extending range of signal from CC2642 controller. I found the RSSI value of signal is weak. Its around -90 to -100 dBm. even though i using CC2590.

Is there any thing need to be enabled from controller side to extend the range?

like PAEN, HGM, EN??

If you need more TX power, I would suggest you to use CC2652P which has PA embedded.

Please see the CC2590 datasheet for the required values of PAEN, HGM, EN signals. That said, if you haven't set these signals correctly you would have attenuated the signal with at least 30 dB.

It's not clear from the question if you are looking at the link budget or just the RX side. To check the performance, please do conducted measurements where you check the sensitivity and the output power (not RSSI)
