CC2564MODN: Japan Certificate

Hello,

Is there a Japan certification on CC2564MODN? Any idea if another company using this module has done Japan certification on the modular level and if there is possibility that we can use the certificate of the module for our end product.

    Hi Ferdinand,

    CC2564MODN is not TELEC certified (Japan certification). Our partner's modules can be found here but they aren't Japan certified either.

    (CC2564MODN) is already designed in a couple of products for a couple of years ago. There is a current demand for the products for the Japanese market which is why we need to certify the module.

    Would it be possible for TI to have the Bluetooth module (CC2564MODN)  be certified for Japan? If not, can TI agree with Topcon to be the manufacturer in charge of getting Japan certification of the module?

    HI Ferdinand,

    Actually we are already certified for Japan for the CC2564MODN. Note that is it only for the one antenna that is on our EM board. Please visit https://www.ti.com/tool/CC256X-CERTIFICATION. They use the Resources link to request the certificate and reports as we do not have this on TI.com as of yet.
