Hi,

I have changed the advertising time of the simpleBLEperipheral.c code and debug it using IAR workbench. The status of the debugging was 'debugging is successful'. However, after debugging the LED of the keyfob is not blinking at all. I have tried inserting a new battery but there is not light from LED. Can you please help me with this issue? Also, can you please clarify me when I should use smartRF flash prograamer and when I should use IAR workbench? I apreciate your help. For your information, I have gone through the software guide.

If you download attached CC2541MiniDkDemoSlave.hex into your CC2541 Keyfob and press right button, can you see red led blinking?

That means your hardware is good so you should check why your application cannot make LED blinking.

Hi Chen,

Thank you very much for your quick response. The LED is blinking now. Can you please help me with one other issue? I want to get continuous RSSI of the keyfob. Can you please let me know what should I change in the code for getting continous RSSI? Does advertising time change help with this?

Is there any way to get a graph of RSSI values of Keyfob over certain period of time (say 10mins)? I am using CC2541 mini development kit and connected the USB dongle to the PC.

If you use TI SimpleLink Starter App, you can see it can update RSSI continuously and I suppose you can do the same thing using PC with USB dongle.

I cannot give you exact steps but you can refer to to use BTool to do it accordingly.
