Hi Team,

We would like to request your assistance to the customer's inquiry below.

I recently purchased several CC2650 Sensor Tags and have been able to connect them to the SimpleLink SensorTag Android app quite easily. My question is how do I extract the data that is tracked to a text file such as .csv or .txt with time stamps so I can look at the data in excel? I'm particularly interested in pressure data.

I was also able to connect it to IBM Watson for free and look at the data on my desktop, but again I don't see a convert to text button or any sort of way to download the data.

I found a forum post from years ago that showed a button for this, but it appears the app has been updated since then.

Hey Danilo,

It looks like this isn't supported innately in the app (see this related post). I can confirm the customer's observations and could not find such functionality. The related post the customer refers to (here), suggests to use a second launchpad loaded with host_test firmware in combination with BTOOL to save the log of received events and parse the log. Has the customer tried this?

Hi,

Your customer can use the logging feature using IOS LIghtBlue App or Android nRF Connect App.. I don't remember if there is a feature to save to a file.
