Hi experts,

I know we can download sensortag app source code for android and iOS. I am wondoring if TI plan to release source code of multitool in iOS or BLE device monitor on android? If its provided by third party, can we have the third party contact window? thanks.

    We will not be releasing the full source code of the iOS multitool, but I believe we will put up an example for Android. I'm not sure it will contain the full implementation but at least the critical parts.

    Our board and firmware successfully communicates with the Multitool.  However SensorTag app does not.   What is the App differences between SensorTag and Multitool?

    Having the Multitool app source code will go a long way in understanding the differences and to make changes to the App or the firmware code.

    We cannot unfortunately not share that due to legal issues since the application is published on the Apple App Store. The SensorTag example is not published either, we only have a stripped-down and modified "sample" version online.

    I would recommend sniffing the traffic between the devices using a CC2540 Dongle and the BLE packet sniffer to figure out what is wrong:

    i actually need change the sampling rate of the sensors, and it seems only multitool can do that. However, we do not have access to the source code of "multitool". Pity.
    Any chance at least TI genius can let us know how to adjust / set the sensors' sampling rate ?

    Hello Bob. You can modify the sampling rate of a sensor by writing to the sensor's "period" characteristic where:

    Period = [Input*10] ms, (lower limit 100 ms), default 1000 ms

    If you are not familiar with the periodic characteristic, I would recommend connecting to the sensor tag from BLE Device Monitor and discovering all characteristics to become familiar with the attribute table

    We also have been looking for it for a long while, but as far as we know the answer is No, no source code for iOS.

    There is App source code for Android, but we tried it and it does not work either.
