It says from this link below that I can use either CC13x2 CC26x2 SDK2.40 or CC2652RB SDK3.10 for CC2652RB LP. But I just flashed the simple peripheral form CC13x2 CC26x2 SDK2.40 and it did not run. However the simple peripheral from CC2652RB SDK3.10 worked.

I don’t see where it mentions “either CC13x2 CC26x2 SDK2.40 or CC2652RB SDK3.10 for CC2652RB LP”. If it is, I guess it’s typo or something misunderstood. I think you have to use SIMPLELINK-CC2652RB-BLE-SDK.

In reply to YiKai Chen:
From the link I provided it says this below.
Step 1: Buy the LP-CC2652RB LaunchPad development kitStep 2: Download the CC13x2-CC26X2 SDKNote: The v3.10.00.xx release of the SIMPLELINK-CC2652RB-BLE-SDK does not include support for Code Composer Studio™ CloudStep 3: Complete the Out-of-Box experience and take the SimpleLink Academy trainings
But, I found this app note and it mentions doing some modification for the Simple Peripheral to work.
In reply to Markel Robregado:
I think the paragraph is misleading. SIMPLELINK-CC2652RB-BLE-SDK is listed under simplelink-cc13x2-26x2-sdk link and this causes confusion. Actually, LP-CC2652RB needs SIMPLELINK-CC2652RB-BLE-SDK.
The previous statement "LP-CC2652RB needs SIMPLELINK-CC2652RB-BLE-SDK" is correct.
I agree that the information on the webpage is confusing. CC2652RB will be supported in the next CC13x2-CC26X2 SDK although this quarter the support was added in a separate SDK (specific for CC2652RB). I will have marketing updating the page.
