Hi,

I'm working with pan1323 bluetooth module(CC2560 inside) with stellaris LM4F232q5hd micro controller. I need to interface A2DP profile with, CC2560 module as I2S master. I changed A2DP example that given for stellaris LM3s9d96 and removed I2S interrupts and decoding parts and made it work with stellaris LM4F232. But i have a issue in making CC2560 as I2S master. I configured bluetooth module using vendor specific command (hci_vs_write_codec_config) and i was able to receive I2S clock and left-right clock in loopback mode. How can i generated I2S clock and receive I2S Data in normal operation mode?

Hi Aruna,

The A2DP data is sent as a ACL packet over UART. So for A2DP why would you require I2S interface?

Hi,

I need to send A2DP data to TI CODAC evaluation board(TLV320AIC3254EVM-K) and then for ampilifier for play the song. But since the microcontroller im using (stellaris LM4F232) does not have I2S interface, i have no way to send A2DP data to the TI CODAC. Is it possible get A2DP data from cc256 module in I2S format?

Hi Aruna,

The chip set you are using does not support Assisted A2DP. Assisted A2DP is supported only on CC256xB.

Hi, But CC2560 device has PCM/I2S interface as well. I was able to get I2S clock signals as well in loopback mode. Can't i use this interface for A2DP?

Hi Aruna,

To get the data over I2S, you need to have a SBC decoder in the chip and this is available only in CC256xB.
