How to use Whitelist in Central CC2451 or CC26xx?!

Hello,

In my project, I want my Central only scan some specific Nodes that already known their Addresses. I know that BLE Central support Whitelist function. But I don't know to add Nodes's address into "Whitelist" of the Central. I also can't find any instruction or example guide me how to do that.

Hi,

There are several ways of adding an address to the central's white list, see for example Chapter 5.4.5.5.1 Enabling Auto Sync of White List of the Software Developer's Guide ( www.ti.com/.../swru393d.pdf )

Two more questions.
1. What is maximum number of Node's address can I add to Whitelist?!
2. Is there any notice about how to use HCI cmds which relative to Whitelist, or I can call them anytime. Now i put HCI_LE_AddWhiteListCmd func right before "osal_set_event( simpleBLETaskId, START_DEVICE_EVT )" in SimpleBLECentral_Init().

Hi Ngoc,

You can use HCI_LE_ReadWhiteListSizeCmd() to find out how many addresses can fit in the white list.

Werther a HCI command can be called from the application is stated for each HCI command in SDG page 231 and 232 ( www.ti.com/.../swru393d.pdf ).
