RTOS/LAUNCHXL-CC2650: Enable log message in TI-SDK example project

I have just gone through the Project Zero exercise, and success to see the log messages during execution.

Open Putty and select the XDS110 Class Application/User UART at 115200 baud.

However, when I open other example project "simple_peripheral_cc2650lp_app", I could not get any log message.

What would be the procedures and call to enable the XDS COM log message ?

Hi,

The following is the predefine symbol in simple_peripehral lp project:

You need to disable the following(adding a x in front of the predefine) :

1. BOARD_DISPLAY_EXCLUDE_UART,

2. Display_DISABLE_ALL

3. xdc_runtime_Log_DISABLE_ALL

Hi Christin,

Tried your suggestion but need one more change in SimpleBLEPeripheral_init() to use UART instead.

// dispHandle = Display_open(Display_Type_LCD, NULL);
dispHandle = Display_open(Display_Type_UART, NULL);
