Hello,

I have been using cc2650 launchpad with Contiki OS and as Contiki supports cc26xx devices i thought of switching to cc2640r2f. I used cc2650 launchpad program into cc2640r2f launchpad but it's not working. I am not bothering about communication but I was expecting at least LED blink. not even able to see any data on serial communication(Teraterm). any suggestion with which I can use cc2650 program with cc2640r2f or information about the difference?

CC2640R2 cannot run Contiki 6LowPAN because CC2640R2 doesn’t support 802.15.4.

yes that is fine with me, i have to work on BLE afterwards. but if we cosider the normal application like Led blink on button pressed? source code is working with cc2650 but how about cc2640r2f?

Not sure about this but I think it cannot work too. You can try to know it.

Hi Sam,

The CC2640R2F is not binary compatible with CC2650 due to differences in the ROM code. You need to re-build your SW for CC2640R2F for it to work.
