If I connect my Nokia 5230 phone through standard USB-Bluetouth adapter CSR8510_A10, an additional com-port appears in the device manager, which can be used by standard means or defined as modem.

I programmed SmartRF06 + CC2650EM-7ID by spp_ble_server - project and want to use it to communicate with my PC (Windows7) with standard USB-Bluetouth adapter CSR8510_A10 .

A new Bluetouth device appeared on the list, but no additional COM port appeared in Windows.

What changes in the project spp_ble_server do you need or which drivers for PC should be used to have an additional com-port?

As I know, spp_ble_server has to work with spp_ble_client. I suppose you need two sets of SmartRF06 + CC2650EM-7ID to run those two SPP examples to make them communicate to each other.

I know about it.
But I want to use standart usb-blootooth adapter and PC with Windows instead SmartRF06 board with spp_ble_client. This is possible?

If you program this board with the thermometer_cc2650em_app project and connect to it via android application BLE_Tool, a thermometer device will appear in it and a temperature will be visible in a certain tab of the program. But the same board will be visible from the PC as a Bluetooth device but in no tab will the temperature be visible. Most likely this is due to the fact that BLE_Tool sends some additional requests that are not sent by the PC.

I'm not sure I know the answer to your question right away, but before I go looking and asking around, were you able to figure this out on your own or no?

yes i understand that need other chip (not CC2650)
