error #10010: errors encountered during linking; "simple_peripheral_cc2640r2lp_app.out" not built

I have this above error and not able to find the root cause! any help? The header and source file seem to be fine.. but i dont know where is this structure defined can some one tell me, i m using this in the simple_peripheral project.

Hello Harsha,
simple_peripheral_cc2640r2lp_app example compiler without any issues.
Please post your Console output.
You did some changes.
What did you changed?

Hey, I just followed the steps from

http://dev.ti.com/tirex/content/simplelink_cc2640r2_sdk_1_35_00_33/docs/ble5stack/ble_user_guide/html/ble-stack/custom-hardware.html#creating-a-custom-board-file

this link, to port to my new board.. but it is still cc2640r2f but custom designed. I completed all the three steps.

And then i have this error while compiling,

is defined like this:

    void          const    *hwAttrs;
} TRNGCC26XX_Config;

Your application refers to TRNGCC26XX_config variable, however this variable is not declared and not initialized.

This error is typically caused by a missing #include Have you included the file where TRNGCC26XX Global is defined?

Yes, this is defined in the driver files, and it is a global declaration, the thing is it works completely fine if I use the board file from TI, but if i use my own board file, it shows this compilation error.. I dont know how, but it is not linking this structure while compiling, the board file of mine and TI are almost the same except the names. But still i m having this issue.

What exactly is the delta between the code that compiles without an issue and the code with your board file?

The name of the board file and also, in the board files, CC2640R2_LAUNCHXL is changed to MYBOARD like mentioned in the
dev.ti.com/.../custom-hardware.html

Thats all and nothing else.

MYBOARD.c should contain declaration like this:

/* TRNG configuration structure */
const TRNGCC26XX_Config TRNGCC26XX_config[] = {
    {
         .object  = &trngCC26XXObjects[0],
         .hwAttrs = &TRNGCC26XXHWAttrs[0]
    },
    {NULL, NULL}
};
