LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2: SPI delay between bytes transfer

Hi

I am trying to generate a pattern by sending out bytes on the spi line (with DMA) on the CC2640R2. I have noticed that there is 2 spi clk delay between consecutive bytes transfer. (there is no clk, and MOSI line goes to zero). Is there a way to prevent this delay? I am using rfCarrierwave_nortos sample project with default spi settings
