CCS/CC2652R: How to modify symbol at simple_peripheral_app.opt

Hi Team,

SDK: simplelink_cc13x2_26x2_sdk_3_10_00_53

I modify symbol at simple_peripheral_app.opt, but it don't take effective in code. Please check below picture. How to modify symbol at simple_peripheral_app.opt

I see the same issue when I tried this. Cannot find where POWER_SAVING is exactly defined in simple_peripheral example and how to disable it.

Hi,
Have you checked the project Properties -> Build -> ARM Compiler -> Predefined Symbols?

The predefined symbols is default and like the following screenshot. Is there anything wrong?

Hey,
You are correct, I cannot seem to find any traces of POWER_SAVING being defined anywhere else than in the .opt file. Assigning this internally for follow up. Meanwhile, can you make sure to do a clean followed by build, just to be certain.

Hi,

It looks like the .opt file that the project uses is the template/original one in the SDK folder, not the one copied into the workspace. Change the path to the application opt file to the following, and it should work as expected:

${workspace_loc:/${ProjName}/Tools/Defines/simple_peripheral_app.opt}
