Part Number: CC2540

Hi Team,

I am posting this in behalf of our customer for confirmation.
1. Does CC2540 chip support Linux host processor

2. Where to find Linux Driver for CC2540

I found some e2e forum for this subjects but this is for confirmation only for the customer mostly for number 2 question.
Thank!

Jonathan

  • Hi Jonathan,

CC2540 could be used as a network processor although Bluetooth low energy is not really designed for it. The purpose is to run the application embedded. Either way, there is no official Linux support from TI, although there has been some community members attempting to write a package over time... all of them staying at prototype level as far as I know.

  • Hi Joakim,

The customer accepted this information. Thank you very much for your support.

    Regards,

    Jonathan
