CC1352R: Cannot read Device Name in Generic Access Service

We assume that there is an bug in the GAP functionality in SDK 3.40.0.02. When checking the simple_peripheral_app_CC13X2R1_LAUNCHXL_tirtos_ccs example on the Launchpad CC1352R, we noticed that the Device Name and Appearance characteristics have the W (write) attribute, while the attribute should be R (read). In previous versions of the SDK, this problem was not observed. Please fix this error.

We found the same problem in the SDK 4.10.00.10 for CC2640R2. Please create a ticket.

Thanks for flagging. I was able to reproduce this issue with both BLE stacks in the v4.10 CC2640R2 SDK so I'll create another ticket.

I'm affected by this bug too with SDK 3.40.00.02. Can you provide a bugfix-ID so that we can better track this issue? May you can name the SDK version and release date when it's fixed?
