CC2642R: BugReport: ADV_CONN_CFG infinite loop if BondManager is updating while enabeling Advertisment

Easy to reproduce with Simplelink SDK 4.20.00.34 and Launchpad CC26x2R1:

open multirole example project in CCS

open SysConfig settings for BLE and activate 'sync Whitelist with Bonded devices' (General settings)
and set filterpolicy in Advertisment set to ..connection from devices in whitelist

build the project and let it run.

connect with any smartphone and perform a bonding.

disconnect and reconnect several times, change the CCCDs of some Characteristics some times.

quite soon the controller will get in an infinite loop at LL_LastCmdDoneCBack_ADV_CONN_CFG().

As on a new connection, or after a disconnect, the advertisment is immediately reactivated. This
seems to get in trouble if the BondManager still is active to store Bonds or CCCD states.

Stacks and heap seems to be fine...

can you confirm this? Is there a fix / workaround available?

Hi Martin,

I tested reproducing this issue in a recent 3Q engineering SDK build, and can confirm I don't observe this issue in that build. So this issue should be resolved in the next SDK release, which should be available in early October.

The fix is made in the BLE Stack libraries, so unfortunately there is no workarounds currently available you can apply in the application.
