CC2541: Why timer interrupt is not accurate before BLE connection

Hi team,

My customer use timer interrupt on CC2541 central role. They find out before BLE connection, the timer interrupt is not accurate. But after BLE connection, the timer interrupt is accurate. The timer interrupt is set in 1ms. Please help clarify.

I'd love to help; but I'll probably need more details.

Can you please clarify the following?

What SDK version are they using?
What example project are they using?
What do you mean by "the timer interrupt is not accurate"? Do you see an offset? if so, how large?
Are they using out-of-the-box hardware and firmware, or is this a custom?
Could you describe the setup and the steps to reproduce?
