suggestion for smart lock

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2640

Hi;

We will purchase large quantities of products for mass production. We were directed to the forum by customer support services. It was stated that there will be more comprehensive support in the forum.

The subject is a smart lock. We want to use Bluetooth low energy product. We will manufacture the engines of the product. In BLDC or Steps.

The current product design samples are far from our project. Therefore, we found it appropriate to design a system that is both updated and richer.

We have prepared a preliminary question list. A preliminary question list that will determine the main questions. First I want to talk about the features of the product.

1) There is a product that will work with a Li-ion battery. For now, we are considering an estimated 5000mAh capacity.
2) We are considering a stepper or a BLDC motor. We will design and manufacture the engine. We don't want to use a gear in the engine. We want to open / close a single turn lock in a single cycle. So torque is important, but power / efficiency is also very important.
3) A Bluetooth Low Energy processor will be used. It must be an efficient processor. It should be able to be reprogrammed remotely. It can use OTA technology.

In the first question we are waiting for a suggestion for a charge integrated circuit. This charging circuit should feed the processor directly in the range of 3 - 3.3V. It should be able to give information about battery capacity. We will feed the power line of the motor directly with the battery, without a charging unit. Hence, the charging circuit will only feed the processor. I guess the feeding of the motor through the charge circuit often causes problems due to the circuit current capacity. Which product / products can you recommend for the charging circuit?

The second question is about the engine designed. We want a single cycle with a single motor rotation. So there is no gear in the system. High torque and high efficiency are required. (At the moment of possible lock enforcement.) Stepper motor is a heavy motor magnet caused. We consider outer rotor type for BLDC motor. Like in drones. Without gears, it should be as quiet as possible and capable of high torque. We think 12s14p if we decide BLDC. Need a motor circuit. Driver circuit; There must be a circuit that can drive the engine with the command it receives from the Bluetooth processor.

The third question is about the processor. We demand a low energy consuming product for the processor. And it should also be remotely programmable. Bluetooth processors do not have internet access. Communication can be established via bluetooth via the user's mobile phone or tablet computer. Therefore, a new program coming from the cloud computer must be loaded into the smart lock via the user's mobile device. The SDK should make this possible. Apart from that, another feature is about controlling the motor driver circuit. The engine needs to be controlled with FOC for efficiency. We do not want to use an additional processor that provides this. This increases the cost. We want to buy all products from Texas Instruments. Is there a solution like ST's STM32WB family with bluetooth low energy foc? Trapezoidal solution will lead to loss of energy and torque. Do you have built-in FOC software for your Bluetooth products?

Which products can you recommend?

We thank you....
