CC2652P: Update from CC2640 + CC2592 to CC2652P

Part Number: CC2652P
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2592, , CC2640, CC2652R

Hello.

We had worked previously with the combination CC2640 + CC2592 for our prodcuts for years, and now we want to update it to the new ICs. In this case i think the best option is the CC2652P that has the amplifier integrated, with discrete antenna components (i read there is not balun available for +20dB). I assume that the CC2652R can work with the CC2592 but it will be more expensive than the CC2652P  for that +2dB difference

Our specifications simplified are: We have to be able to work with BLE and ZIGBEE (not at the same time) with the same board, power consumption doesen't matter, as cheap as possible, as small board as possible, longest range possible.

My questions are:

1- Are my asumptions correct? about the CC2652 with +20dB with discrete antenna components or there are baluns available?

2- The +2dB difference between the CC2592 (+22dB) and the integrated amplifier of the CC2652 (+20dB) is noticeable in range?

3- Which is the best reference design to base our development for the CC2652P with +20dB best performance?

3- Is there any other options or considerations we need to know?

Thanks,

Regads.
