can you please suggest me how to capture ble data using smart sniffer on wire shark.

i am making use my custom devices to exchange data between two devices. the data to be exchanged is the sensor generated data( temperature and humidity).

my devices work in a mesh arrangement to exchange data between each other.

i am only getting the scan response and advtt data on the wireshark. i am not able to get the exchanged data between two devices.

kindly provide methods to capture the ble exchanged data between two devices.

Hey Rohit,

Please note that the Packet Sniffer FW can only sniff BLE 4.2 packets and is great for simple debugging. See links below for more info.

The easiest solution here would be to temporarily disable security for debugging so you can see the data exchange. If no LTK is used, the sniffer can decrypt the data.

If you would like to keep security enabled, you'll have to use the SIG defined debug keys and provide them to Wireshark. This means you will have to define SC_HOST_DEBUG (if using a CC2640R2) in your project.. Then, you'll have to go to Wireshark and add the LTK there to decrypt the packets. I'm not too familiar with Wireshark and don't have exact steps for you on this.
