CC2640R2F: CC2640R2F KC Test Question

Part Number: CC2640R2F

Dear TI team,

We met a problem of our module during passing KC certification. Pls see details as below:

Chip: CC2640R2FRSM
Reference design: TI CC2640R2F official one

Test method:

Module frequency: 2480 MHz

Spectrum analyzer frequency: 4958 MHz

Test Results:

Difference design: -57 dBm

Single-ended design: -42 dBm

The requirements of the KC standard is under -54 dBm.

The reference pictures

  • Hi,

Is this a conductive measurement or radiative measurement?

Does the Spec ( -54dBm) for conductive or radiative?

You mentioned you measured -57dBm in Differential mode and -42dBm in Single-Ended configuration. Is this correct?

Are you using Single-ended or Differential mode?

Why did you test in both modes?

What is the Tx power you measured at 2480MHz in both Differential mode and single-ended mode?

Did you copy our reference design?

Could you please send your Schematic (PDF)  and PCB Layout (Gerber format)  for our review?

Please use the following link for Design review request.

    Thanks,

    PM

  • Hi PM,

    Good day.

    Thanks for your prompt reply.

We solved this problem yesterday. Thanks for your supports.

    Have a nice day.
