Good Morning All,

I am doing a project using the CC2540 (so far so good - first hardware arrives today!), but I realise that my general knowledge of the ins and outs of BTLE is a bit limited.

Does anybody know of any UK based courses / seminars that I could go on to get a good grounding in BTLE?

You can contact TI local representative. They Hold training conference sometimes. You can try to see if there is anyone you can join.

Hi Chris,

We hold trainings for our FAE's and distributors but not directly to customers.

A number of companies hold trainings but they might be based on other products & SW architectures than the CC2540 uses and I have not seen any UK-based trainings.

A good starting before attending any training can be to go through the below material:

Thanks for the info.

I purchased the O'Reilly - 'Getting Started with Bluetooth Low Energy' book.

Hopefully that is enough to get me started.

How have you already make a wireless proximity pet door without understanding the wireless part? Are you moving your design to BLE form something else?
