cc2650 basic sample & tutorial ?

We are firmware beginners. We need do some simple processing of the sensor data of CC2650 sensortag 2.0, such as averaging 100 samples of Accelerometer raw data, store the result in some storage, and then output it by a trigger such as user pushing button.

Is there any resources we can use to start learning the programming of sensortag 2.0 ? For example, some step by step source code, some tutorial, etc. ?

Welcome as a new user of CC2650?

Assuming you know C programming fairly well already, I would probably first start out with getting an overview of the tools and software packages:

After this you can download Code Composer Studio + the latest version of TI RTOS and browse the examples built into the SW package (pin interrupts, I2C usage etc). The drivers are well documented and found in <ti_rtos_install_path>\docs\docs_overview.html

You might want to use the TI RTOS and SYS/BIOS kernel user guides as references for the RTOS components:

Hi Bill,

Using TI RTOS will mostly hide the CPU specifics for you (except when needing to debug exceptions, stack overflows etc) so it might be worth looking more into general embedded firmware programming rather than studying the Cortex M3 architecture in detail.
