Hello Friends,

We have one customer who use one main MCU via SPI communication wiht the CC2541-Q1, they would like set up the DTM test and the main MCU via UART to connect the test equipment and SPI to connect CC2541, they already know our CC2541 Hosttest test command, they will use the SPI to send the Test command:

Command to start TX Test: HCI_LE_Transmitter_Test;

Command to start Rx test: HCI_LE_Receiver_Test;

They want to know, if they want to know the output power in the CC2541-Q1, how to communicate with the test equipment and also the test data sequence in the function, do we have the test document, special about the test data sequence based on different paramter testing in the BLE product line testing?

They don't allow CC25410Q1 to via UART to communicate with the test equipment in their system, must do it in the main MCU.

    Hi Hongzhou,

    If I understand the issue correctly, the setup is: Tester < - UART - > HOST MCU < - SPI - >CC2540

    As long the host MCU is passing the events and commands between the tester and the cc2540, everything should be fine.

    Regarding the output power, there are specific commands to modify the output power for DTM mode, see 10.18, and the current power can be seen in the generated event.
