CC2640: Bluetooth connection terminates after sometime.

I have downloaded bluetooth code on cc2640 PCB. I am using BLE reader app to see available services and connect to microcontroller. the connection terminates after sometime. and we connect to device again the same thing happens every time. I don't unserstand what is the exact problem. if anybody can resolve this please do reply.

Hi Smriti,

Have you run a packet sniffer to see what happens when the connection is terminated? Have you verified that you 32 kHz crystal frequency is correct?

Hi Fredrik,

Yes i have used cc2640 module on my pcb which has crystal on it. no i did not run packet sniffer. i'll run it and tell you what happens.

I am not able to use packet sniffer as i don't have usb dongle.

Hi Fredrik,

I was able to see what's happening in a mobile app when i connected it to my controller.
It is showing "Error 8" "gatt connection timeout".
Please tell me what should i do to solve this.
