CC2640: TIDA-01012 Wireless IoT, Bluetooth® Low Energy, 4½ Digit, 100kHz True RMS Digital Multimeter Reference Design Board

Part Number: CC2640
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-01012

Hi, All

Does anyone know how and where to buy a prototype board of TIDA-01012? the TI website says

"Fully assembled board (shown above) developed for testing and performance validation only, not available for sale".

TI has many evaluation boards for most of its chips. why this one is not available for sale. safety issue? FCC?.

It does not make sense that each developer builds a prototype board by themselves.  is there any issue if I make the assemblies based on the document provided by TI, and provide it to the developer?

if TI couldn't provide it and the third party can, it will benefit both the user and TI, does this make sense? I hope I can get a comment from TI.

Thanks
